| Testing: |
|
Testing is one of the important things that universities look at but it is not the only thing they look at aside from the application. They also take great consideration for the personal statement and the interview, if there happens to be an interview.
However, many universities for certain programs require a certain amount of requirement scores depending on your specific program. For example, if a student is applying for an MA in English a certain school they look at may have a certain score set that they require from the Critical Thinking and Analytical Writing Skills because the main focus of the program is literature and English. The same process applies for other programs.
Still, the admissions office will not base their decisions only on the test scores. Individuals applying to institutions should try their best and get the best score possible for the particular exam they need to take but they should not fret over it. The testing is only part of the admissions process but will not determine the future of person’s education. |
