Many people all over the world chose to study in the United States for its numerous colleges and universities nation wide. They are known for the popular Ivy League schools such as Brown University, Columbia University, Cornell University, Dartmouth College, Harvard University, Princeton University, University of Pennsylvania, and Yale University.

These eight private institutes have made the competition to attend a university in the U.S. much more powerful. However, these schools are not the only ones that rank the highest of the top universities in the country. Acquiring a four- year college degree is the first step to higher education. The U.S. is one of the many countries that enforce higher education.

The United States also holds the largest population of international student population in the world. It is the most popular place that international students pick to continue their education, but why? It is because the United States has much to offer all students such as academic excellence, variety of educational opportunities, and latest forms of technology, opportunity for research, flexibility, support services for international students, global education and long- term career prospects.

As a result, coming to the United States either for work or school usually has its advantages because they offer so much help to international students with a commitment to improve their lives through education and with a long-term career view.
